The grinder is made of a high-quality alloy, also known as aircraft aluminum (EN AW 7075). This high-strength aluminum-zinc alloy makes the grinder so tough that it's virtually impossible to break, just like stainless steel. However, compared to a stainless steel one, the aircraft aluminum grinder weighs much less. With such a strong metal, there is no abrasion but a nylon ring between the metal parts ensures that the grinder spins easily and effortlessly. A strong magnet provides secure cohesion of parts.
